This graceful hummingbird has been lovingly hand carved from parasite wood

Parasite wood is a parasitic plant that grows on its host, the Chinaberry tree, on the beautiful island of Bali. It feeds off the tree’s sap and is so strong that even when the host is dead this plant doesn’t decay. The plants are collected by highly skilled artisans who create wonderful carvings entirely by hand
