Soap Nuts

With these all natural soap nuts there’s no need for additional detergent or fabric conditioner. For each load of washing you only need a few pieces and these can be used a few times making this a very economical and environmentally friendly alternative to harsh chemicals

Soap nuts have been used for thousands of years as a natural washing detergent. Also known as “soap berries”, they grow on trees of the Sapindus genus and are a source of saponin, a natural soap which cleans and freshens your clothes

Removes dirt on low temperatures

Suitable for sensitive skin and baby clothes

Tip: If you want your clothes to be gently fragranced, add a few drops of essential oil to the conditioner section of your washing machine drawer

Size:

  • 225g (45-60 washes)
  • 15g sample (use entire contents for 3-4 washes)

Directions for Use: Place a 4-6 soap nut shells into a small cloth drawstring bag or an odd sock and tie the top to keep them inside. Place on top of your washing inside the machine drum and run your normal program. At the end of the cycle remove the soap nuts and allow to dry. Can be reused 3 or 4 times. At the end of their use, they can be composted
