Anglo-Saxon Runes

A full set of 33 wooden runes (including one blank). Also known as Ruthorc, these runes were used from the 5th to the 10th century and was use largely for manuscripts and engravings rather than divination

Each wooden rune has been cut, marked and varnished by the skilled hands of artisans in Indonesia, who were paid a respectable amount for their work and who worked in pleasant conditons. Find out more about fair trade here 

All the runes fit perfectly into their own brown faux suede drawstring pouch and contain a leaflet giving the name and meaning of each rune

Size: each rune is approximately 2-2.5cm diameter and 1 cm thick
